So.. wow.. six months in and I have lost…. Hmmmm…. Let’s define lost…. 157.5 is the tally for this month and I was supposed to be….oh gosh I can hardly type it… 144lbs… so almost a stone off side… in fact 2.5lbs gain from January … however as you read last month with all that is happening in my life I wanted to lose a lb in the past month and I have actually lost 1.5lbs..(I was 159 on the 9th May!) so I feel that I have achieved… the whole point of the 12 in 12 challenge is to make slow steady steps … so fair enough the first six months did not bring about the changes I wanted but let’s not look back, as I said last month, and just celebrate the loss… whoop whoop.. I lost 1.5lbs… the challenges in my life continue.. sleep is not great and I am over run with work right now… there is virtually no time for exercise and my elf buddy is similarly overwhelmed with work too so we are not able to meet and encourage each other or run together… as we would sincerely love to do now that I have been deemed fit to run again after three months of very little exercise…. I am loving Pilates and have discovered a new trainer who is himself an ex Olympic and World Champion medallist rower…. but also the sweetest kindest man alive… he has put me through my paces a few times and this has definitely helped…. So for the next month I am going to carry on doing what I am doing and see if I can drop another lb… lots of parties, lots of work, lots of children, lots of lots!!! Onwards and inwards… another 1.5 for July would be very welcome… 156 is the goal… watch this space…..!
